    Now that the summer equinox has finally arrived and the stats for Central England are now in for yesterday, I can now reveal that Spring 2014 was the 8th warmest since 1772, with a mean temperature of 11.68°C and an anomaly of +1.57°C. It’s also still well placed to become the warmest year since at least 1772
